We have been taught to pray ourselves out of every bad situation but sometimes we unknowingly pray for situations that wouldn’t benefit us in the near future. It is good to consistently pray but it is better to consistently pray for God’s will to be done in our lives. While we pray for God’s will, we should also note that his will may not come in the ways we want but in the ways we need.

1 John 5:14

Matthew 26:39

This blessed me. My pattern of prayer should be one that surrenders to God's will. And prayer is a way to communicate to God. Many of us speak but don't listen to what God has to say back to us.
